Our vision is to build a regional House of Prayer Ministry that. . .
Condition and Mission
Pastors and Leaders
Because the House of Prayer requires an outflow to the world, we want to pray for and support what is coming out of the hearts of the people in Northern Colorado. We also want to communicate the corporate needs in our cities. Part of what the body of Christ suffers from is a lack of information. What if we became very informed about what needs prayer? What would happen if the church became engaged with local government, schools, and social issues? What would happen if we became the most informed people about the condition of the world around us, and prayed at a high level for those issues?
Part of our call is to be a "go to" location for what is happening in Northern Colorado and even the world. Information flow is critical to effective unified prayer. Knowing the condition and mission of our cities and churches also gives us a baseline by which we can assess, over time, if our prayers are making a difference. Testimonies of progress can fuel the fires of prayer.
As for world missions we want to focus, in particular, on the unreached people groups of the world. We are looking to partner with Mission:2414. Our vision is to be a major prayer supporter, and sending group, for this amazing initiative. Click here to learn more. More coming on the 2414 Room in the House of Prayer later this year.
Key to the One Hope House of Prayer is a deep love for the church and a conviction that day and night prayer cannot be accomplished by any one church. The church in a city must work together. Pastors must pray together. Non-profit directors and regional ministry leaders must pray together. If the leaders are not in unity, and are not praying together, and are not in relationships of trust and joy, then how will the body of Christ enter in?
Our approach is to build relationships with pastors and ministry leaders. Because the leadership of One Hope is not the savior of anybody, we simply want to serve pastors and do what we can to connect the body of Christ. Our mission includes establishment of prayer retreats for leaders and the advancement of monthly prayer gatherings for pastors and also for ministry leaders.
Key to the One Hope House of Prayer is a deep love for the church and a conviction that day and night prayer cannot be accomplished by any one church. The church in a city must work together. Pastors must prayer together. Working together requires relationships build on trust and time together. And if the leaders are not in unity, and are not praying together, how will the body of Christ enter in?

Our mission includes the advancement of pastor prayer groups, retreats, and other unity-building, relationship-building efforts.
Our vision is to see more than programmed events. We want to see a culture of worship and prayer that defines our region and is deeply rooted in our hearts. Through teaching, equipping, and discipling we want to cultivate an atmosphere of worship that permeates all churches and segments of society. Can Northern Colorado be known around the world for the amazing art, media, and music arising from the body of Christ as a powerful expression of worship?
In order to create an entire culture of worship, we must work together, share ideas, teach the scriptures, disciple from the heart, and equip people with the tools available to us including sound, lights, art, literature, dance, film, media, all other creative technologies.
We are not the only ones calling people to prayer. Our function is to help celebrate and advance the prayer initiatives already taking place in the region, and to serve the strategies God reveals through others in the body of Christ. By working together with city leaders (pastors, intercessors, musicians, etc), we will help discover, coordinate, and communicate what God is doing. We just want to see prayer and worship elevated in all segments of society and in all churches. We don't envision One Hope as the only initiator or controller of corporate prayer. But if we can be a part of coordinating the body of Christ to work together then we are fulfilling our vision.
The culmination of our vision is to create "city spaces" where people from all church backgrounds can join together in worship and prayer in all types and styles and formats at all times of the day or night. Some spaces will be for personal prayer and reflection, some for corporate prayer. Some spaces will be for city intercession, and some for world missions. Some rooms will be for ministering to the Lord in a "harp and bowl" format, and some rooms will be for ministering to the people of God in prayer. We are working with churches to "send" leaders to lead worship and prayer times under their authority, grace, and tradition, but available and open to all people from all church backgrounds. We deeply value the local church as the primary means of discipleship, spiritual family, and missional outreach. The city House of Prayer is when all the churches work together to keep the flame of worship and prayer blazing day and night. Only in working together can we see unceasing prayer revive our churches and transform our cities.
